Maxim Medvedev, Founder, Managing Partner

Maxim Medvedev and Elena Masolova launched first AddVenture fund in summer, 2008. Maxim is responsible for the fund’s investment strategy, co-operation with portfolio companies, as well as developing and analyzing their operational strategies and marketing plans.

Maxim is also a co-founder and a member of the board of Pixonic (more than 15 million users, two funding rounds closed, over $ 7 million of investments). Maxim is a Higher School of Economics alumni, winner of «Russian Innovation Competition», «. RU style business» club’s activist and founder of «Innovation Jam» business club.

Sergey Karpov, Managing Partner

Responsible for strategic development of the portfolio companies and relationships with key Russian and international financial and operating partners of the fund. Sergey is a member of the board in a number of Addventure ‘s portfolio companies.

Sergey is a founder and managing partner of ValueTech Advisers, a financial advisory company providing transaction support for fundraising deals to technology and Internet businesses. Prior to founding ValueTech Advisers Sergey served as Managing Director of Altium Capital investment bank and AGA Management consulting company.

Sergey has participated in more than 30 M&A and fundraising transactions totaling over $ 1.5 billion, e.g. Stack Group, Headhunter, 1C-Bitrix, Alawar Entertainment, and Utinet.ru. Sergey also has a successful track record in the Internet industry, including international sales management for Kaspersky Labs and launching Russia's first e-commerce distributor Dealine.ru (a subsidiary of IBS Group).

Sergey has completed a Ph.D. in economics, and is an IT cluster expert at Skolkovo fund and an expert at Rosnano JSC.

Pavel Terentyev, Managing Partner

Responsible for initiating and structuring M&A and fundraising transactions, divestiture of portfolio investments, as well as relationships with key Russian and international financial and strategic partners of the fund. Pavel is also a member of the board in a number of Addventure ‘s portfolio companies.

Pavel has over 10 years’ experience in financial and investment banking industry. He has participated in key transactions on the Russian IT and Internet market, including acquisition of Rambler Media, Afisha.ru, fundraising for Epam and Stack Group, placement of loan notes of Prof-Media holding ($ 250 million), IPO and listing several Russian consumer companies on the London Stock Exchange, etc.

Since 2009 Pavel has been a Managing Partner at ValueTech Advisers. Prior to that Pavel served as a Deputy Director in the TMT group of Renaissance Capital investment banking unit, and participated in key transactions on the Russian market (selling MTV Russia, TV3, Extra M Media publishing house, minority stake of Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House), and was also a Deputy Director of “Renaissance Direct Investment” Private Equity Fund ($ 660 million). Pavel began his career at audit and consulting services department (financial sector) of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Pavel is an alumni of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
